Capillary Tube Mats Introduction

Background:

The water capillary mats system for heating and cooling was invented in Germany and it has been successfully used for more than 25 years in Western European and developed dynamically to other countries. It received widespread recognition as an energy-efficient system which ensures lower operational costs and a higher level of comfort, compared to traditional heating and cooling systems


Introduction:
Capillary tube mat system is an innovative technology developed to replace the conventional radiator heating and air conditioning systems. It is made of Polypropylene. It consists of plastic tubes with an external diameter of only 4.3mm and two collection pipes with diameter of 20mm. The mats are supplied in lengths of 1m to 12.0m and variable widths up to 1.0m.

Raw material: 

The capillary tube mats are made of original Borealis's pure and highly recyclable polypropylene granulate which is free from hazardous substances. Neither exhaust air nor waste water is produced, production residues are 100% recycled. 

Packaging & Shipping

Capillary tube mats are precisely prefabricated in accordance with the dimensions required for your project. This shortens installation time and ensures maximum surface use. The mats are supplied rolled-up, packed in high quality cartons. The production time of official orders need about 10 days.

They can be integrated into walls of various designs and used as wall heating and wall cooling.

Underfloor heating systems with capillary tube mats can be used for temperature control in all buildings. They are either integrated into an existing screed or laid directly on an existing floor as a thin-layer underfloor heating system and enable gentle temperature control of floor surfaces.
