Introduction
Expocentre is a world-known Russian exhibition company, which has always retained its status of a leading organizer of largest international exhibitions in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe, and of Russia’s national expositions at EXPO exhibitions.
In 2014 the company celebrated its 55th anniversary.
Expocentre was the first Russian company to join UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in 1975. In 2005 we played host to the 72nd Annual Congress of UFI, the main international association of exhibition organizers.
Annually, Expocentre Fairgrounds hosts over 100 events of different scale and importance with approximately 30,000 companies participating. The number of visitors is about two million people.
The total space of the Fairgrounds exceeds 250,000 sqm; the total exposition space is 165,000 sqm of which 105,000 is indoors and 60,000 sqm outdoors. In 2008 the total space used for trade fairs and conventions was over 700,000 sqm.
Expocentre Fairgrounds has nine fully equipped exhibition pavilions, halls to hold conventions, press conferences, meetings and symposia; it offers all kinds of exhibition and convention related services.
All events held by Expocentre enjoy support from Russian federal ministries and agencies and the Government of Moscow. The programme of events is drawn with direct participation of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and various professional associations. Expocentre is a member of the Guild of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Exhibition and Fair Organizations.
