Introduction
Turkey International Air Conditioning Exhibition (ISK-SODEX) is organized by the Turkish branch of the famous German Hannover Exhibition company. Since the first exhibition in 1997, it has been held in Turkey every even few years. It is strongly supported by the Turkish Association of air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturers, and the number of previous exhibitions has continued to rise. SODEX is the largest air conditioning exhibition in the region bordering Europe and Asia, and also the third exhibition in the field of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration in the world. Because Turkey is located at the intersection of Europe, Asia and Africa, it has unparalleled radiation power, and every SODEX attracts the attention of global manufacturers including China. Turkey's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 3.1 trillion Turkish lira ($850.7 billion) in 2017, up 7.4% from the previous year, according to a report released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday. Meanwhile, employee compensation rose 12.9 percent in 2017, thanks to a better macro economy.
